I am always interested in talking to someone who is  enthusiastic about working with children – but you do need at least 2 years proven yoga experience. As classes are generally held  during the daytime then you do need to be available between 9am and 4pm for a minimum of 3 days per week – if you are free on Saturdays then that presents some great opportunities! If this appeals to you, then why not give me a call to discuss the possibilities?

MICHELLE BANKS

Michelle - Pat´s teacher

Michelle is a Complementary and Holistic Healthcare teacher and practitioner. In her spare time she teaches children how to care for animals as part of the Blue Cross education scheme as well as hand-crafting Crystal jewellery and writing for magazines about mind, body and soul. Michelle has practiced Vini Yoga for more than ten years as part of her own health care programme. Coming from a background of complementary healthcare she knows the benefits that can be gained from Yoga and is delighted to be able to share this understanding with children, assisting them on their path of growth and learning and hopefully enabling them to carry forwards some of the many positive aspects and benefits that Yoga can offer into their adult lives.

Beth Cooney

Beth attended Birmingham Theatre School before completing a degree in English, after which she then went on to work in the media for more than 12 years. She has practised yoga and meditation for 15 years and has enjoyed the thrill of teaching her own 3 children the  joy and wonder of good yoga practise. Her passion for yoga and the visible benefits she sees in her own children has prompted her to become a YogaBugs teacher and share this invaluable experience.

After leaving school, Wendy spent many years working in Marketing until she recently decided that the time was right to pursue her dream of becoming a fully qualified yoga teacher. With over 10 year experience of practising yoga and attending regular weekend workshops her ambition has alays been to teach yoga to all ages - so when the opportunity came along to join YogaBugs she was delighted!

With two little YogaBugs of her own - aged 3 and 5 years - she knows exactly how yoga can benefit children's development and creativity. Yoga is such a non-competitive atcivity that regardlwess of age or ability anyone can do it, have fun and get fit along the way!

About the Regional Manager

After working for 'more than a lifetime' incorporate IT, last year I decided that there was a real yearning inside me to do something I enjoyed and believed in for the rest of my working life! I am a qualified dance teacher (Ballet, Tap and Freestyle Disco), and alongside some  part-time teaching I have always practised yoga for my own benefit - having started classes during pregnancy I continued my practise afterwards. Once  I had taken the YogaBugs teaching course then I was hooked! If you genuinely love working with children then YogaBugs is such a great and rewarding activity to do with them.

My regular yoga practice is Hatha yoga but I have experienced all types of yoga over the years, attending many workshops and retreats. My favourite practice place is Goa! To do yoga outside, surrounded by the warm air and sound of nature all around is such a wonderul rejuvenating experience.

I know that if yoga had been an option when I was at school, then it would have made a huge difference in my approach to life during my teens and early adulthood.
